DSI premium line spiral implants are made as tapered internal hex implants, enabling easy insertion of the implant into the socket and sustaining exceptional initial stability. The thread design of the DSI implant is self-tapping; such a structure allows it to be used in various bone conditions. The slightly aggressive geometric shape includes dual threads, two spiral channels stemming from the apex, micro rings on the neck, and a changing thread thickness along with the implant. The result is that soft bone is collected and compressed during the implantation. It creates a perfectly uniform, high-quality platform ready for immediate loading. Platform switching preserves the crestal bone height and soft tissue levels, increasing the quality of outcomes in the treatments.
Features
• Made of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V ELI, in accordance with ASTM-F136-02.
• Improved SLA surface treatment for better osseointegration and optimal surface specifications.
• Connection: 2.42 Internal Hex, Zimmer-SV compatible. One prosthetic platform for the whole implant diameter range : 3.5-6mm
• Extra-narrrow 3.0 implant with 2.00mm hex as a solution for narrow ridges.
• Increased implant-abutment contact area.
• Thread design offers high initial stability, optimal prosthetic orientation, and minimally invasive insertion.
• Clean surface - optimal micro and macro porosity you would expect from SLA treatment without alumina particles.
• High initial stability and consistent success rates (over 97% long-term).
• Platform–switching, root-form design.
• Marginal bone preservation
• Ideally suited for both immediate loading and traditional 2-stage protocols.
• Universal internal hex connection accepts the full range of the DSI Prosthetic component.
• Self-tapping/self-cutting threads for optimal surgical flexibility.
• Micro rings on the neck of the implant optimize the shear strengths in the crest zone.
