The Barraquer micro needle holder BLACK EDITION is particularly suitable for periodontal procedures thanks to its fine jaws. It is identical to the 1086-21 F needle holder, but also has a high-quality, elegant black coating. The micro needle holder has an in-built ratchet which allows the instrument to engage and lock in place.

Its curved shape makes it possible to work in hard-to-reach areas of the oral cavity. Thanks to the fine suture material that can be used with this needle holder, minimally invasive suturing is possible with minimal tissue traumatisation. The special ‘pivot-curved’ closure prevents the suture material from getting caught during the suturing process. It is ideal for thread thicknesses from 5-0 to 6-0 and has a jaw thickness of 1.2 mm.
Durable carbide inserts (TC inserts) are integrated into the working end to ensure particularly high resistance.
