With a width of 1.2 mm at the tip of the jaw, this Barraquer micro needle holder is the widest version in this series. The needle holder is equipped with an internal rotation lock to ensure that the needle is held securely with a latching function. At the same time, there are carbide inserts (TC inserts) in the working part, which give the instrument a particularly long service life.

Application: Due to the fine working part compared to standard needle holders, the micro needle holder is designed for the use of 5-0 and 6-0 suture material and is therefore ideally suited for periodontal surgery.
With the "pivot-curved" closure, the suture material remains securely in the instrument without tearing or snagging, while the round handle of the F-LINE ROUND SOLID design ensures easy handling and balanced weight distribution. The 171 mm overall length not only ensures that this instrument can also be used in deep oral regions, but also that the needle holder can be easily accommodated in washtrays
