SHOFU continues to focus on providing high-quality dental consumables. To meet the increasing demands of dental laboratories, SHOFU remains committed to developing innovative solutions for the growing use of digitalised production processes in dental laboratories.
The proper bond as a success factor
With the "CERAMAGE meets digital" concept, SHOFU targets dental technicians, offering a wide range of options to aesthetically enhance various restorations using composite veneering. Regardless of the material selected for frameworks or superstructures, and whether produced manually or digitally, CERAMAGE, CERAMAGE UP and LITE ART enable the veneering, individualisation and refinement of numerous dental materials, including PMMA, zirconia, hybrid ceramics, non-precious alloys and 3D-printing liquids.
A reliable adhesive bond is key to long-lasting results. Depending on the restorative material, the Ceraresin Bond (CRB) bonding agent for ceramics and resins or the SHOFU Universal Primer bonding agent for composites, metals, zirconia and alumina are used. For durable composite veneers, SHOFU Universal Pre-Opaque is applied in addition to the primer. These two products form a coordinated bonding system that is highly resistant to hydrolysis and thermal stress.
This combination ensures a stable bond even in moist environments, eliminating the need for mechanical retention on metal frameworks. The flowable SHOFU Universal Pre-Opaque cures even in areas with minimal light exposure, significantly enhancing bond strength.
Across all veneering applications, materials are available that have been proven both individually and in combination, ensuring reliable results when restorations are delivered to dental practices.
