Mold & Pattern Coat

R&R offers two mold and pattern protective coats that were specifically designed to be used as a wash coat for refractory models made in duplicating material and as a face coat for plastic/wax patterns. When used during the refractory model and investing steps, will help ensure optimal surface smoothness, thereby improving accuracy and minimizing finishing time and labor.

While All Purpose Protective Coat is a pre-made slurry, Protective Coat Powder & Liquid is a two-part system that allows variation in mixing, allowing you to mix to your preferred thickness. Protective Coat Powder & Liquid is recommended when using Perflex® duplicating materials.
