What are the opening hours of the Press Centre?

I have already been successfully accredited for one of the previous events, do I have to apply again this year?

Admission to a previous event is no guarantee for renewed accreditation. A new application has to be made for each event. Please observe the current accreditation guidelines.

How can I become accredited?

Here you have the opportunity to apply for accreditation online around the clock as of January 2019 up to two weeks before the beginning of the event. You will receive your press ticket with the parking permit for the press parking spots as pdf for printing. Only press tickets printed in high quality can be read by the scanners at the entrance. Please cut out your press ticket. Catalogues and lanyards will be provided at the assigned accreditation counters or in the Press Centre.

You can of course also receive accreditation after the pre-accreditation period has expired - starting on the first day of the trade fair, 12 March 2019, in the Press Centre East (Entrance East/Congress Centre East, 2nd floor, between halls 10 and 11).

Where can I accredit locally?

Only in the Press Centre East, Entrance East/Congress Centre East (between halls 10 and 11), 2nd floor, Deutz-Mülheimer Straße 51, 50679 Köln.

How many accreditations can I apply for per editorial office?

Access figures and the size of the medium do not play a role in the accreditation process, there is no limit on the number of people.

Is it possible to submit a group application?

No. Each person from a medium has to apply for an accreditation individually using the online form. Group applications cannot be processed.

When do I receive my press ticket?

After successful accreditation, the press tickets will be directly sent out per e-mail. Due to the high number of enquiries, the accreditation can take up to 3 weeks.

I still haven't received a confirmation email that my accreditation has been accepted. Why?

Please check your SPAM file. The subject of the confirmation e-mail is: Koelnmesse: Your personal press ticket.

We possibly did not receive your enquiry. Please try again!

Why have I received a refusal although I have completed the online accreditation?

The accreditation guidelines were not fulfilled or not completely fulfilled. Evidence is missing or is not sufficient.

Where are the workplaces for journalists?

Free WiFi access is available in the Press Centre East (between halls 10 and 11), 2nd floor, Deutz-Mülheimer Straße 51, 50679 Köln

Is there access to WiFi on the fair grounds?

The free WiFi offer for the visitors is available via the SSID (name of the WiFi network) #hotspot.koelnmesse. After registering on the portal page of this network, you will have free access to the Internet.

Which parking options do I have for my car?

Press car park is available under the Zoobrücke bridge (near Hall 8) and on the east side of Hall 11 (near gate E)
