The term, tooth extraction is misleading. From a practical point of view it is nearly not possible to remove a tooth out of the alveolus only by pulling. The extraction is consisting of loosening the desmodontal connection and luxation out of the alveolus. The conventional luxation is effected by overexpansion or breaking of the bony zone of the alveolus. It is possible depending on the dimension of the traumatisation with injury of the Periost to have a resorbtion of the bone. It is the goal to minimise these traumatisation in order to avoid bone resorbtion with local atrophy of the alveolus. In times of implantation, this is very important.
TAC-TRACTION DEEP Grip Kit: The new design allows an excellent anatomical adaptation and needs only as much pressure to avoid slipping out of the doctor‘s hand. Forceful pressure is not needed. The forceps allow balanced axial luxation, a better periodontal tensibility of the ligaments and a better tactil feeling. They reduce the trauma of the surrounding soft tissues.
