With the new P4000 system for 3D printing, Zirkonzahn provides dentists and dental technicians with a pre-set package specially conceived for the dental workflow and the manufacture of resin dental models. The system, which includes the P4000 Printer, the Zirkonzahn.Slicer software and the L300 Post-Curing Lamp, works ideally in combination with the Printer Resin Waterbased Beige by Zirkonzahn.
The compact P4000 Printer is equipped with a 4K monochrome, high-precision display and is based on LCD technology. The large print volume (L x W x H: 20 x 12,5 x 20 cm) permits the simultaneous production of, for instance, up to 21 Geller models or 15 full-arch models, depending on their structure and dimensions. The printer is conceived to process resins with a wavelength of 405 nm and for this reason works ideally with the Printer Resin Waterbased Beige.
Patient data, which are captured through intraoral or impression scans, can be easily and quickly loaded into the Model Maker module of the design software. The created model is then transferred to the new Zirkonzahn.Slicer software, where it is placed on the printing platform and, if needed, special supports can be generated. The 3D print data generated can be transferred to Zirkonzahn’s P4000 Printer either via USB, LAN or WiFi to start the model printing process. Once the model has been cleaned with water in the ultrasonic bath and cured, the patient's jaw movements can be checked plaster-free in the PS1 or Mini-Arti ZS1 articulators using the new JawAligner PS1 or ZS1 system (magnetic spacer plates).
