The Zero Waste Implant

DESS is launching two new implant systems, Active Hex and Conical BLT: The first Zero Waste Implants on the market.

We have achieved the Zero Waste concept by managing the collection of all the packaging – titanium vial, PET blister and carboard box – from the dental clinic back to our premises. We have created 2 re-usable and recyclable return boxes that fit 20 and 40 implant packaging sets respectively to ensure each collection is optimized. Once we have the packaging, we recycle both cardboard box and PET blister, and we treat the titanium vial according to cleanliness and sterility guidelines until it is ready for re-use.

We could not have brought the Zero Waste concept to reality without the help of our partners and dental clinics. This is why we are really happy to offer them 1 FREE implant for every 10 sets of packaging they return to us.
