QUART dent/digitest 2.1 - Dental X-Ray Test Phantom for Image Quality Control and Service

The QUART dent/digitest 2.1 test phantom was developed to check and verify the image quality of dental X-ray systems. Since the 1990s, dent/digitest has been the standard product for dental X-ray quality assurance in Germany and the rest of the world.

Its use is very simple: monthly images of the test phantom are visually evaluated to ensure consistent image quality and to detect and eliminate any defects of the X-ray system at an early stage. All this serves one purpose - protecting the patient from unnecessary radiation.

The digitest test phantom can be used universally for intra-oral X-ray or panoramic systems with and without a Ceph arm. For panoramic devices of different manufacturers specially designed and customized holders are available for quick and easy setup.

The QUART dent/digitest dental image quality test phantom complies with DIN 6868-151 and 6868-5 as well as IEC 61223-3-4 and 61223-2-7 as well as a number of x-ray QA guidelines.
