NOVAMag® fixation screw

Made from a completely resorbable, biodegradable, magnesium metal alloy, NOVAMag® fixation screws are ideal for securing barrier membranes, bone grafts as well as bone blocks. The fixation screws come in five sizes to suit all fixation requirements.

The smallest screw (the NOVAMag® fixation screw XS) is specifically designed for securing membranes, such as the NOVAMag® membrane, the collagen membranes Jason® membrane or collprotect® membrane, as well as non-resorbable PTFE membranes, such as permamem®.

NOVAMag® fixation screws S-XL can be used for bone block fixation. As the fixation screws are resorbable, remnants of the screws pose no risk when inserting dental implants and are completely resorbed over a period of around one year after their implantation.
