Q-Unit: Handpiece Inspection Apparatus

Q-unit is a sophisticated inspection apparatus designed for comprehensive testing and maintenance of dental handpieces. This versatile tool is indispensable in research and development, manufacturing, quality control, and repair settings, offering precise evaluations of dental handpieces.

Dental Handpiece Inspection
The Q-unit is equipped with various operational checking and measuring functions, making it essential for testing, inspection, and maintenance of dental handpieces. It includes controls for air pressure, water pressure, and water volume, along with on-off functions for driven air, cooling water, chip air, and illumination. Additionally, it features an air-blow system to efficiently discharge residual cooling water from handpieces.

Revolution & Frequency Measurement
Equipped with two sensors, the Q-unit accurately measures both revolution and frequency. Sensor A is capable of measuring from 5,000 to 999,000 rpm and from 1 to 200,000 Hz, while Sensor B handles measurements from 1 to 5,000 rpm. This capability ensures comprehensive testing across a wide range of operational speeds.

ISO 9168 Type C Connector
The Q-unit includes a Type C handpiece connector that conforms to the ISO 9168 international standard. This universal connector accommodates various standardized dental handpieces such as air turbines, air motors (including contra angles), and air scalers. It is also compatible with original couplings from handpiece manufacturers, offering great flexibility and ease of use.

The Q-unit sets a new standard in dental handpiece inspection, providing a reliable, efficient, and essential service tool that enhances the functionality and longevity of dental handpieces.
