BioniQ Pilot Guided Surgery & BioniQ Fully Guided Surgery

BioniQ® Pilot Guided Surgery

Pilot guided surgery ensures that the implant is optimally positioned without increasing the time required for surgery and removes the need for the extensive range of instruments required for fully guided surgery. With pilot guided surgery, a template is only used for drilling with an S2.9 drill at the beginning of the preparation procedure. Other instruments are then used according to the standard BioniQ® surgical protocol. Further preparation and insertion of the implant takes place after the template has already been removed.

BioniQ® Fully Guided Surgery

The BioniQ® fully guided surgery solution is designed for prosthetics-driven individual treatment using BioniQ® implants, with a surgical template guiding the precise trajectory of all instruments. It is fitted with titanium sleeves with tool stops to reach the pre-planned preparation depth, thereby ensuring the implants are inserted into their precise prosthetic positions. The diameter of the guide sleeves makes it possible to insert the implants themselves without having to remove the surgical template. BioniQ fully guided surgery is also designed for the prosthetics-driven individual treatment of edentulous and partially edentulous jaws.
