The consistency can be determined individually by adding water.

Stimulates secondary dentin formation.

X-ray visible through the addition of barium sulfate.

Supply of caries-free, near-pulp dentin.

Direct pulp capping, also following a pulpotomy.

Caries profunda treatment and/or indirect pulp capping.

Temporary insertion in root canal.
