100 years of IDS "Shaping the Dental Future" makes Cologne the dental capital of the world

IDS was not only taking place for the fortieth time this year, but was also celebrating its 100th birthday. As of 14.03.2023, global industry met at the leading global trade fair in Cologne, exhibiting companies presented the comprehensive update on the state of the art, trade fair participants could hold professional discussions and personal talks with suppliers and partners at decision-making level; all this together made the IDS visit a lasting industry experience and the most important meeting place for the dental family.

We were looking forward to the numerous trade visitors from all over the world who filled not only our halls but also our beautiful cathedral city with vibrant life.

"Ribbon Cutting" officially opened the 40th IDS

On 13.03.2023 of the International Dental Show IDS, the industry celebrated the 100th anniversary of the leading global trade fair for the dental sector. In the exclusive, historic ambience of the Cologne Flora, national and international decision-makers from industry, trade, media and politics met at a gala evening.

At the beginning of the gala, the 40th IDS was officially opened with a "Ribbon Cutting".
