Information
During the purchase process, you will be asked to log in using your personal Koelnmesse account or to register if you have not already so. You can also use your account details to sign in to the trade fair app.

A personal Koelnmesse account is required to participate in the trade fair so that we can ensure a high level of trade visitor quality and offer an optimal digital trade fair experience. You can also use this account later to register in the IDS app.
Do you want to buy tickets for other people?
Select ‘Buy ticket’. During the purchase process, you will be asked to enter the details of the ticket holder. Enter the name and email address of the person for whom the ticket is intended. These persons will then receive a ticket code by link, which they can redeem with their own Koelnmesse account.
How to get your ticket
Ticket in the app:
In the IDS app, you can conveniently access the ticket and your public transport ticket in the ticket wallet there. Simply log in to the app with the Koelnmesse account you used to purchase your ticket.
The app also allows you to plan your visit to the trade fair efficiently. Here you will find the hall plan and navigation, exhibitor and product lists, the event programme and can network with other trade fair participants.
Ticket by download:
You will also receive your ticket as a PDF file in the order confirmation. You can also download the ticket to the wallet of your mobile device via a link in the e-mail.
The ticket for public transport will be sent to you in a separate e-mail. You can also call up your ticket and travelcard at any time under ‘My orders’ in the Ticket Shop.

Trade visitor
The IDS is a trade fair. Koelnmesse GmbH reserves the right to conduct suitable trade visitor inspections on site.
Children and youths
Children and young people below the age of 16 may enter the grounds during an event only when accompanied by an adult. Special notification will be given of diverging regulations. Adults and young people over the age of 16 enjoy unrestricted admission. Children below the age of six are admitted free of charge. An appropriate admission ticket must be purchased in all other cases. Eventrelated special regulations such as ‘for trade visitors only’ are not affected by this regulation.
Accompanying pets
It is prohibited to bring dogs and other pets to our fair grounds.
Travel ticket
You will receive your free travel ticket in a separate e-mail.
The free travel ticket (2nd class) is valid for public transport in the expanded network of the Rhein Sieg Transportoperated by the Rhein Sieg Transport Authority (VRS) and Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) .
Exempted are trains of the Deutsche Bahn AG subject to a surcharge, e.g. the IC/EC or ICE.
The public transport ticket only provides authorization for arrival and departure in the context of a visit to Koelnmesse GmbH within the indicated period of the trade fair. It is non-transferable and only valid in connection with a valid photo identification and an admission ticket of Koelnmesse GmbH.
