Traffic is distributed across the entire road network using AI-based traffic control and not just on a few main routes. NUNAV can therefore prevent traffic congestion before it occurs. Those who drive to an event using a standard navigation system will normally enter the point of interest (e.g. "trade fair grounds") and then have to search for a parking space once they have arrived at the destination. NUNAV provides navigation to a free parking space, thus making it unnecessary to spend time searching. If a parking space is occupied, it is automatically switched off in NUNAV and users are redirected to the next available parking space. There is no need to search for a parking space and there are no traffic jams, because NUNAV detects all road closures and traffic disruptions on the way to Koelnmesse and intelligently distributes the traffic over the entire available road network.
No. The capacity of each road is taken into account when distributing traffic. Only individual vehicles are guided through small streets at most.
The NUNAV Navigation app can be installed free of charge from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, after which it is immediately ready for use. User registration is not required. After starting the app, simply select the destination and enter the user role. Route guidance to the parking lot starts automatically.
Type the name of the event taking place at Koelnmesse into the NUNAV search bar. Just enter "Messehochhaus" for the place of business.
The roles of visitor, exhibitor, press and suppliers are activated in the drop-down menu for Koelnmesse. As a person with a disability, you will also receive direct routing to the exclusively equipped barrier-free car park. Owners of a corresponding identity card are entitled to this.

Our colleagues are working on integrating more countries into the NUNAV Navigation app in the near future.
As with any other software, errors are possible in the NUNAV app. NUNAV promptly investigates any signs of such errors and first analyses whether a problem is due to map data, traffic-warning information furnished by police, a connection error or an error in the programming code.
NUNAV users have access to e-mail-based support in Hanover (via support@graphmasters.net ) or the notification capability built into the Android app to suggest improvements to the product or report any errors.

NUNAV Navigation does not store any personal user data and is entirely ad-free. The system only transmits and processes information about traffic. This includes the roads a driver can use and the speeds at which it is possible to drive. NUNAV calculates the traffic model based on this information. To NUNAV, the sender of these data is an anonymous user who is irretrievably deleted every two minutes and then replaced by a new one.
NUNAV only provides a regular anonymised signal and does not track the journey. It does not access other apps on the smartphone, for example, nor does it create user profiles. In coordination with the City of Cologne, it is Koelnmesse – and not an ad-based software/algorithm – that manages the route taken to the right parking spaces and access roads.
